Mission and Vision
The Junior Cascades Volleyball Club has a mission to develop eleven to eighteen year-old female athletes to be future leaders in women’s volleyball. Through the partnership of UFV women’s volleyball, we want to expose athletes to University level programming. We envision each leader to be an athlete who receives an opportunity at the post secondary level of volleyball if they choose to.
While a high level of performance provincially and nationally is expected of our athletes, excellence is measured by our athletes’ long-term development rather than by their record of wins and losses.

The JRC philosophy will be nurtured through our relationship with Janelle Rozema, the UFV Cascades Volleyball Team, and its coaches. The JRC Volleyball Club’s young athletes will be given opportunities to experience and see the UFV Cascades philosophy in action – through attendance as spectators at UFV Cascades matches, Cascades athletes volunteering at some JRC training and by volunteering at UFV Cascades matches. It is expected that our JRC athletes give back to the volleyball community. We look forward to seeing the impact that our future leaders in women’s volleyball will make!
