Carlos Navarrete – 16U Assistant Coach

Carlos joins our 16U coaching staff as an Assistant Coach for the 2026–27 season, working alongside Head Coach Mackenzie Coyle and Assistant Coach Mandelyn Erikson. He was previously part of the Jr Cascades 18U Summit coaching staff with Mandelyn, and brings that high-performance club experience to help develop the next generation of Cascades athletes.

His coaching experience is extensive, having worked with both girls and boys club teams ranging from 13U to 18U. Carlos has also coached at the high school level, leading grade 8, junior and senior teams for both girls and boys, and is a Volleyball BC coach trained in the Advanced Development stream. Beyond coaching, he has held various administrative and director roles in club volleyball since 2016, contributing to the sport’s growth and development.

In 2024, Carlos led the 14U Boys to a silver medal in the Division 1 BC Provincial Championships, showcasing his ability to inspire his players. Outside of volleyball, he is also a certified baseball coach and umpire, bringing a diverse athletic background to his coaching philosophy.
