Grace Warkentin – 15U Head Coach

Grace leads our 15U team as Head Coach for the 2026–27 season, joined by Assistant Coach Connor Funk. She brings a wealth of experience to the Jr Cascades program, both as a former college and university player and as an enthusiastic coach.

Grace spent two years playing at Douglas College, where she was named to the PACWEST All-Rookie Team, won a PACWEST silver medal with the Royals and competed at the CCAA National Championship. She then continued her career as an outside hitter with the University of the Fraser Valley Cascades for another two years, competing at the Canada West level. That firsthand experience with the demands of high-performance volleyball gives her a deep understanding of the game, the teamwork it requires and the work it takes to move from youth volleyball into college volleyball.

As a coach, Grace has already made a significant impact. She helped lead a U14 team with the Ducks Volleyball Club to a gold medal at the provincial championships, a testament to her dedication to player development, and she has coached with the Jr Cascades for several seasons. Grace is a competitor, leader and passionate volleyball person who understands that developing young athletes is about much more than teaching skills — fostering a love for the game and building skills that extend beyond the court.
